Before you print
Barcodes on retail products need a GTIN assigned to your company by GS1. The generator draws a barcode for the number you enter; it does not assign numbers.
Print between 80% and 200% of the nominal size and keep the light margins on both sides of the bars clear. Test-scan a printed sample before you print labels in volume.
SVG is a vector format for print and design software. PNG suits documents and online use.
